Job: 2370 - Analyst Purchasing

Jobing Description

Position * Support builds (e.g. Launch Engineering Change cost and timing, resolve supply & quality issues, etc.) and support Material Logistic Analysts (MLAs) in attendance at various launch meetings such as Open-To-Go, Pink, Shortage Management, etc.* Act as primary Purchasing liaison with Assembly Plants for supply issues. (PVT, Launch Team, IQ, Material Control, etc.), and assist STA as required with quality issues. * Support Plant PVT by expediting selected Engineering Changes and quality improvements through Purchasing and MP&L. * Prepare New Model Launch reports as required. * Drive and coordinate the Target and SAL/CPA processes within Purchasing.* Provide CBG/Central/Core Purchasing with program timing requirements to ensure that Purchasing deliverables are met on time. Skills Required:Program/Project Management; prior Company Purchasing experience; prior Company WIPS experience; negotiation; and Microsoft Office (incl. excel, powerpoint, and word).Experience Required:Automotive Production Purchasing Experience Experience Preferred: Pre 2005 Company Program MLA experience Education Required:Bachelors Degree or Equivalent work experience
