Years of exp req: 4This is a highly responsible work overseeing the accounting and financial activities for an Integrated Manufacturing automotive plant. Incumbents in the classification are responsible for planning, forecasting, and enforcing accounting policy, methods, and procedures as well as providing oversight in the areas of cost accounting, month-end closing, accounts payable, and accounts receivableBS/BA required Position Specific Requirements: (not limited to) Analyzes all financial expenditures and making business and financial recommendationsProvides strategic business and financial guidance to achieve short and long term corporate goals and maintain/improve upon operation s annual profitsProvides senior leadership and management presence as a key member of the Plant Management teamOversees execution of Internal Control Process, including interactions with both internal and external auditorsMeets Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, including attesting to SOX control items and compliance status quarterlyEnsures compliance with local, state and federal accounting regulationDevelop annual Plant operating Budgets including labor and overhead costs, spending related costs, launch, inventory, and related costsAnalyzes, interprets, and communicates annual budgets to assure accuracy and sensibility
