Jobing Description

Electronics Technician (This is an Electronics Technician not a Electrician Position!!) Job Build, test, troubleshoot and repair electronics to the component level. May include analog, digital and/or video-type circuits. Diagnose and correct electronic circuitry and equipment issues. Calibrate and modify electronic circuitry and components. Skills: Familiarity and skill in using electronic assembly hand tools and common laboratory bench equipment (power supplies, DMM, oscilloscopes ). Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot circuits to a component level. Ability to read schematics and blueprints. Excellent soldering experience. Assembling/repairing connectors. Education/Training: High school diploma or GED. Two to five years of proven Technician experience. Technical training equivalent to an Associate s degree preferred.
