Jobing Description
Responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the graphic design area, faculty generally teach five courses per academic year; maintaining an active creative research practice; participating in curriculum development and student advising as well as perfoming service to the department, college, and university.

Qualifications
The department seeks candidates who possess the following required qualifications: an appropriate terminal degree (e.g., MFA, MGD, MDes) in graphic design or visual communication; web-design, motion graphics, and multi-media experience in addition to other graphic design skills and software competencies; Macintosh platform experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in a particular aspect of graphic design, such as information, environmental, or interactive, is preferred; three or more years of college-level teaching experience and evidence of significant professional activity/practice are also preferrred.
