TELLER
SUMMARY
The Teller delivers member value as the primary contact point for the processing of routine transactions. The position is also expected to educate members about appropriate products and services by listening to determine member needs and recommending products or services which meet those needs appropriately. This position requires exceptional member service skills, product and service knowledge, attention to detail and adherence to operations policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Member Service and Value - Delivers service to members (internal and external) in manner that projects confidence, knowledge and ability to recognize needs and provide options and solutions to meet member needs within established policies and procedures. Interactions with members provide value and generate good will and a positive image of Credit Union ONE as a professional and trustworthy financial institution.
Accuracy/Detail Maintains a superior level of attention to detail and ensures accuracy in all transactions and activities performed.
Financial Transactions Process all financial transactions and service accounts this includes, but is not limited to deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, problem resolution, and other services as may be defined by processes or procedures.
Cross-Sales Identify opportunities for the expansion of the product and service relationship with all members and offer or refer the member for additional appropriate products. This includes additional account relationships as well as other products and services offered by the credit union.
Telephonic Service Answers incoming branch telephone calls and delivers appropriate levels of service via the telephone depending on the purpose of the call.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must speak and write Spanish/English fluently
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Minimum of one year cash handling experience.
Exhibits a passion and commitment to great member service by consistently delivering the service process to every member of Credit Union ONE.
