Description
Solidworks Superuser and EPDM Administrator needed. Would be an excellent opportunity for student co-op or internship.
BASIC FUNCTION: Performs as the lead to conceptualize, analyze, design and/or modify parts and assemblies to support new product development. Supports technical services department, internal and external customers and suppliers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
POSITION FOCUS:
(%)
20% - Routinely leads design efforts in conceptualizing designing and/or modifying new components and/or assemblies using primarily 3-D drawing tools for new product development programs. Meet project timetables and requirements under general guidance.
50%-Performs, advanced 3-D cad calculations and activities. Performs engineering calculations and complex analysis as needed. Determine and establish specifications through engineering calculations and layouts.
15%-Coach, guide and train less experienced personnel.
15%-Other duties as assigned or required such as oversee assembly and tests of engineering prototypes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS OR EQUIVALENCIES:
B.S.Me.T. Or B.S.M.E., or equivalent Engineering degree
Minimum of four (4) years of design related experience, of which at least three (3) should be using a 3D CAD system
Solidworks and CATIA experience preferred
Demonstrated Knowledge Of GD & T Methodology
