Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate DIRECT HIRE opening for a Production Shift Supervisor. This position is for a leading automotive supplier and is located in Auburn Hills, MI. Responsibilities: - Utilize knowledge of metals and skills with machine tools to monitor overall operations on the production line. - Monitor readouts from the CNC control module, identify and solve any problems. - Set up/start up, operate and program machinery as necessary. - Instruct and observe employees and manage them with attention to attitude, attendance, work area cleanliness and overall quality of work. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 5 years related supervisory experience (with intimate knowledge of CNC metal processing/machining operations). - Cutting technique and CNC programming/operation experience. - Ability to read CMM measurement protocols and to read and interpret engineering drawings/blue prints/schematics. - MUST HAVE powertrain experience (or with very similar metallic components). - Siemens and Fanuc experience highly preferred. - Must have some experience running automated machines/transfer lines. - Working knowledge of GD&T is highly preferred.
