Job Description:

* Act as the point of contact to respective business groups. Interact and work with all levels of management as well as employees throughout the organization. Provide assistance and coaching to employees. The leadership team thru a variety of Human Resources processes, activities, and initiatives such as: Employee Relations, Training, Performance Management, Staffing and Compensation. Partner with customer groups to provide strategic input to business-related issues.
* Developing the workforce: Review and assist manager in coordinating training needs to retain high performing employee.
* Employee relations: Coach Managers on establishing corrective actions and follow up plans for employees with performance and attendance issues. Stay on top of respective BU's/clusters climate i.e. employee feedback session.

* Career and Succession Planning: Work closely with management on career and succession planning i.e. STEPS process, department meetings, technical ladder. Work with managers in development of high potential and key employees. Work with managers on performance reviews and salary planning.

* Interpret and communication of HR policies such as compensation policies and procedures.
* Projects: Will participate on cross functional teams within the Americas as well as abroad i.e. Munich, Germany.
* Ability to establish and maintain strong, positive working relationship with global HR counterparts. Align regional HR and Munich requests/requirements when possible and provide regional input into global processes and policies.

* Must be willing to travel within the Americas and abroad - 10 to 25% of the time.

Qualifications:

* BS/BA Degree in Human Resources Management or Related Field

* Master in Human Resources Management (desired)

* 5+ years generalist experience serving in multiple HR functions.

* Strong background in employee relations and HR employment law

* Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

* Effective communication skills at all levels of the organization

* Demonstrated organizational, coaching and decision making skills.

* Experience in developing, planning, implementing and coordinating training and development programs.

* Solid PC capabilities using Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and SAP

* Previous experience in the semiconductor industry a plus.
