Responsibilities:

Works under the direction and supervision of the physician or non-physician provider. Provides a broad variety of care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. This may include delegated components of the assessment and discharge procedures, basic patient education, specific treatments and diagnostic modalities.

Requirements:

Must be a graduate from an approved school of nursing and possess a licensed practical nurse license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan. Previous nursing experience, preferably in a physician office setting. Must have strong communication skills, excellent phone etiquette and an ability to relate in a caring manner to all patients.

Note: Must also being willing to perform clerical/receptionist work when the MA/receptionist is unavailable.
