Job Title: Network Administrator
Location: Cadillac, MI
Overview: Responsible for day to day monitoring of the Data Warehouse. Responsible for user adds and routine database maintenance. Administrative support for technical systems with a specific expertise in servers, networks, database. Monitor all databases for better performance and maintenance. Responsible for user adds and changes in the test and production environments. Maintain library of technical database manuals, database procedures, and system work flows to support the current database environment. Document and maintain database linkages, user and schema setups, and database configurations. Maintain library of production documentation as provided by development.Understanding of storage solutions. Group policy knowledge and remote software installation.Operate and perform successful daily backups.Installation, configuration of hardware and software on servers. Installation, configuration of hardware and software on desktop workstations.
Education/
Experience: Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university(emphasis in Information Technology); or eight to ten years related network administration experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
General
Comments: Server 2003 and server 2008 expertise Knowledge of switching and network protocols Addtional experience requireds:Knowledge of 3D CAD/CAM engineering systems; Active directory and MS Exchange 2003/2008 experience;VMWare 4.x experience
