Provides resource assistance and guidance to nursing personnel regarding patient care, established policies, procedures, and standards. Ascertains the need for, and makes adjustments to, the job assignments for nursing personnel ensuring that each assigned area has the resources necessary to maintain a safe patient care environment. The supervisor contacts the administrator on call for direction with critical problems or concerns. Graduation from an accredited nursing program plus current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Michigan. Three to five years of progressively more responsible nursing experience. Must have bachelor''s degree or actively pursuing a degree pertinent to nursing.
