General Position Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising the assembly team on the assigned shift. The Production Supervisor ensures that quality products are produced on time, efficiently, and cost-effectively. The Production Supervisor maintains and promotes a respectful relationship with assembly team members.

Principal Duties and Accountabilities include, but not limited to:

* Supervise assembly operation following SOPs, quality standards, and plant procedures.

* Foster an environment that is committed to providing quality products on time and complete.

* Manage and help train employees to improve performance.

* Manage employee time and attendance system on a daily basis.

* Work with HR to help staff for current and future production demands.

* Use Lean tools to track and improve quality and performance.

* Conduct daily production meetings.

* Foster an environment that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement.

* Develop respectful relationships with team members that encourage retention.

* Ensure all employees work safely.

Required Qualifications:

*

AS or BA degree in Manufacturing or Business Administration, strongly preferred.

*

Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing supervision.

*

LEAN and Continuous Improvement tools and resources

*

Excellent communication, leadership and team building skills. .

*

Excellent problem solving skills, with a track record of obtaining results and driving change.

*

Excellent computer skills.
