Required Skills: " Strong performance and tuning background
" Strong monitoring and alerting background
" Extensive DB2 background on versions 8.x and 9.x (included OPM toolset and other features available in DB2 AESE)
" Strong AIX skills
" Strong shell scripting skills

Duties: This is essentially a OLTP DB2 DBA who can help the clients DBA deal with day-day administration and tasks

The client would essentially would like to pair this person up with a lead DBA and have this person help out on a day-day basis

Initially onsite until customer is happy with work then position will change to remote status.
Location: Detroit initally, then remote possible
Duration: 400-500 hrs in Detroit area
Tentative Start Date: 9/6 or 9/12

Remote Option available
Contract Length: 3 to 6 months

Location: MI
