JOB DESCRIPTION:
Supervision of employees in an Inbound/Outbound Sales Contact Center. Responsible for effective sales team management that includes but is not limited to motivating, mentoring, team building, developing, supporting, and coaching staff, in an effort to grow the business by driving key performance indicators.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, developing and motivating competent staff. Foster a wellness culture creating an environment of continuous process improvement. Drive and implement changes.
*Strong competency required for mentoring agents to continually improve personal and team performance; strong sales acumen.
*Responsible for team's performance, production, quality and adherence to policies and procedures, including developing reasonable expectancies and goal setting.
*Act as intermediary between consumers and company, handling escalated calls and other sensitive situations.
*Familiarity with and ability to use specialized software/equipment such as I3, skill-based routing, workforce management, call monitoring, etc.
*Provide management with timely, relevant and accurate reporting of activities and production statistics.
*Communications and contacts are frequently across departmental lines, interactive with all levels of associates/management, outside vendors, including Legal, Compliance and Actuarial personnel. Contacts involve planning and preparation of communications requiring skills such as tact, persuasion and/or negotiation to accomplish identified objective.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
*Associates Degree or equivalent experience
*LOMA designations or equivalent considered a plus
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:
*3+ years supervisory experience
*3-5 years successful experience managing, gaining commitment, energizing, motivating and coaching others to build a successful team (Financial Services or Contact Center experience considered a plus)
*Proven change agent
*Proven track record for delivering results
*Must be self-directed and highly motivated with the flexibility necessary to operate in a fast growing and fast paced environment
