We are seeking a detail oriented, well organized, dependable person with excellent interpersonal skills to join our Brighton or Novi, Michigan office. Position requires strict adherence to health and safety procedures, attention to detail, good work ethic, and a passion for high quality workmanship. Duties may include field related task and require extended travel. Field activities may include such tasks as:

* Soil classification
* Soil and groundwater sampling per USEPA Methods
* Oversight of drilling subcontractors (Direct Push Technology, Rotary Sonic, Hollow Stem Auger)
* Installation of groundwater monitoring wells and environmental remediation extraction/injection wells
* Environmental Site Assessments
* Aquifer testing

Additional duties may include handling day to day tasks such as:

* Data management (compilation, manipulation, and evaluation)
* Preparation of reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
* Preparing cost estimates
Task Management
* Conducting project related research (historic data, regulations, etc.)

This position requires both field and office work. Candidate must be proficient with MS Word and MS Excel to prepare technical reports and spreadsheet data entry. Technical writing responsibilities require excellent written communication skills and interaction with project staff. Requires strong interpersonal communication skills. It is essential to this position that the candidate has multi-tasking skills. 40 Hours OSHA certification, 8 hour OSHA Supervisor Training, CPR and First Aid certification desired, but not required.

Basic and Required Qualifications:
* Minimum years of experience: 1-3
* Education required: BS Degree in Geology or Environmental related Sciences

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:
* Education preferred: BS Degree in Geology or Environmental Sciences
* Registrations/Certifications preferred:
* Years experience preferred: 2-5

* This position does requires travel. Travel amount is more than 50%.
* A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
* This position does not manage others
