Description

* We are seeking UI/UX individuals with credentials and an academic background in either HCI, psychology, human factors, industrial/organizational, cognitive, statistics etc.
* Individuals will put their knowledge of UI Design and Usability testing to work by prototyping and conceptualizing project needs.
* Develop user interface wireframe specifications, perform software usability evaluations, and create written recommendations.
* Design and build web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.
* Devises and solves complex web design problems and leads others towards the common goal of a creative online offering.
* Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.

Qualifications

* Strong portfolios with CS5; Illustrator; Dreamweaver; Photoshop, and other graphics packages.
* Experience with usability and user interface design of applications, familiarity with multiple authors/principles on the subject of usability.
* Familiarity with working to project plans.
* Strong understanding of user interface design principles and usability testing methodology.
* Experience with wireframe specifications and software usability evaluations.
* Focus group faciliation, graphic design, CSS, XHTML.
* Academic background in HCI, human factors, cognitive, statistics, psychology, or similar.
* Desired - Bachelor's Degree: Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors/Ergonomics, Computer Science, or Graphic Design
