Application Engr
Duties: provide tech engrg & cust liaison support for engine & electrified powertrain test sys integration, dvlpmt, commissioning & troubleshooting of mech infra, battery, e-motor & emissions measurement sys; commission test cells, high-spd data acquisition sys & driver robots for vehicle testing; implement & tune ctrl loops; integrate simulation models & aux equip into test sys; create commissioning docs; conduct test bed data acquisition automation SW review of test cycles & screens; svc, troubleshoot & calibrate industrial drives, dynos & measurement & conditioning devices; write scripts to automate custom processes; provide cust training on sys apps. Req: Bach in Mech Eng, Mechatronics Eng or related + 5 yrs exp in listed duties. Location: Plymouth, MI; may live anywhere in U.S. & work from home office. 40% travel to client sites nationwide; may work at unanticipated U.S. client locations.
